Aussie Megan Anderson Signs with Invicta

Aussie featherweight Megan Anderson (4-1) has signed a multi-fight deal with Invicta. Readers of WomensMMA may remember the Q & A we did with Anderson during Aussie WMMA Week.

Anderson’s first Invicta fight hasn’t yet been schedule, but we were assured a fight announcement would soon be taking place.

As of press time, Anderson wasn’t available for a comment, but her manager, Adam Martin of Posterboy Fighters, gave us the following statement:

“I feel personally that this is an outstanding opportunity for Megan to display her talents on such a major platform for women’s mixed martial arts, being Invicta Fighting Championships.

I do feel IFC is the premier organization for women and especially outside the 115 and 135 lb divisions.

Megan has the right mindset, attitude, skill level to compete with the best women in the word at 145 and now we’ll all get to see it.”

Following is a recent interview Anderson did with Dan Cox of LUBMMA:
