Shayna Baszler Cut From UFC

Bantamweight Shayna “Queen of Spades” Baszler (15-10), whom many rightfully consider an important pioneer of WMMA, has been released by the UFC.

Baszler has fought for EliteXC, Strikeforce, Invicta, and the UFC, and her professional record is a Who’s Who of the best of WMMA. She was also a contestant on TUF 18, where she was coached by Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey (11-0).

Baszler’s last fight was a loss to Amanda Nunes (10-4) at UFC Fight Night 62.

WomensMMA wishes her the best.
