Kaufman decisions Smith again

In the rematch of a fight last year, Sarah Kaufman once again earned the decision win over Leslie Smith. The first time Kaufman and Smith fought, it was barn burner for Invicta FC. However, on last night’s The Ultimate Fighter Nations finale, it was a one sided affair. Kaufman’s crisp striking battered Smith for 3 full rounds, making the judges decision a formality.

Smith, who proposed the match on twitter, was a late replacement after both Shayna Baszler and Amanda Nunes withdrew due to injury. Although Smith proved her toughness and heart, she falls to 6-5-1 after the loss.

Kaufman, who before the fight had mentioned Cat Zingano as a possible future opponent, improves to 17-2-1.
