UFC 190: Ronda Rousey vs Bethe Correia prediction

Not even the UFC thinks Bethe Correia (9-0) has a chance against bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey (11-0), having already named Miesha Tate (17-5) as Rousey’s next fight.

In this video panel of MMA media, via OwnedSports.com, we weigh in with our predictions. Correia failed to stop Jessamyn Duke (3-3-1), and there’s nothing to indicate she has enough power to stop Rousey. Rousey said she wants to teach Correia a long lesson for what Correia said about suicide, but I think Rousey is a simultaneously vengeful and merciful god and won’t drag it out for five rounds. I think she’s more likely to put a nasty beating on Correia for most of one round – which would be plenty – before forcing a stoppage and putting Correia out of her misery. As per the open workouts yesterday, Rousey is looking fast and vicious. Correia…isn’t.

UFC 190 airs live on PPV on August 1.
